WWE Performance Center Orlando, FL

Smackdown was relocated to the WWE Performance Center in Florida from Detroit, MI due to the corona virus.

Roman Reigns makes his way to the ring.

Cole asks Roman how weird was this entrance. He talks about dealing with reactions and it was weird but it is good to be back at the Performance Center. Roman says it has been a crazy year. He has been blessed with the highs and the lows. As long as he has his health and can wake up and participate the next day. He says it feels good to be back and in the main event. Roman is asked about the critics who feel that Roman does not belong in the main event. Roman says he has been dealing with these critics all these years.

If he can main event a small town in front of 5,000 people during the year, why can’t he main event the biggest show. Why can’t he capitalize on the hard work he has done night in and night out. No one has the level of commitment that he has. He came back to do what he loves. He is not bowing down to anyone.

Cole brings up that this match is spear versus spear. Cole is asked about Goldberg’s comments about bulldozing Roman. Roman says he doesn’t know if Goldberg is smart enough to work a bulldozer since he went to Georgia. Goldberg is a legend but he is a part timer. Roman says this is all he thinks about. He was bred and groomed for this. He has mastered the nuances of performance and it shows in the ring. He is going to whoop Goldberg’s ass in the main event and get back his title.

Reigns says his family came back last week and helped him in a major way, which is why he says this firmly – 2020 is his year. They say it feels good to be on the blue brand and they’re about to turn Friday Night SmackDown into Friday Night Lockdown. Detroit, MI

Baron Corbin has something to say before he makes his way to the ring.  Baron says he sees Daniel Bryan chomping at the bit and this is his kingdom and we do things his way.  All of these people like you.  That is because these bottom feeders are jealous of his success.  Baron says he will make this very simple.  You and the Miz have families.  You and the Miz are terrible fathers.  You and the Miz want to face Bray Wyatt.  You and the Miz are former World Champions who have main evented Wrestlemania.  If you think you are going to win, the Fiend ripped out some brain matter in addition to your hair.  You should step aside because it is an absolute disgrace that the King has to compete tonight.  He earned his opportunity when he beat Roman Reigns twice.  That is something that no one has done since Roman’s return.  The people should be begging him to vanquish Bray Wyatt.  The strongest superstar should be Universal Champion.  You are a nice guy, but you are no longer championship material.  Just like the Miz who plays an action hero in the movies but he is not a hero.  He is the only one who can beat Bray Wyatt.

Roman Reigns’ music plays and Corbin falls of his sedan.  His minions leave and Roman with an uppercut to Corbin.  Corbin sends Roman into the ringside barrier and Roman does the same to Corbin.  Roman with a Superman punch off the ring steps.  Roman winds up for a spear and Corbin goes into the crowd.  Officials stop Roman from following after Corbin.

MILWAUKEE, WI

Roman Reigns comes out during The New Day vs Dolph Ziggler and Baron Corbin match

Big E punches Ziggler but Ziggler with a kick followed by a Fameasser for a near fall.  Corbin tags in and gives Big E a hard Irish whip.  Big E with a belly-to-belly suplex to Baron.  Kofi and Dolph tag in and Kofi with a springboard drop followed by clotheslines and a drop kick.  Ziggler is sent over the top rope to the floor and Kofi sets for a dive to the floor but Corbin with a clothesline.  Ziggler with a super kick to Big E.  Corbin punches Kofi.  Dolph gives Baron handcuffs and Baron puts them on Kofi as the referee calls for the bell.

They have Kofi hung up on the ring post like Roman last week.  Big E gets up but Scott Dawson and Dash Wilder with Shatter Machine on the floor.  Baron gets some dog food but . . .

BIRMINGHAM, AL

Roman Reigns makes his way to the ring.

Roman says it is a day late but in his household if you have leftovers in the fridge, it is still Thanksgiving.  Thanksgiving means three things.  Family, good health, and happiness.  Roman says he had one of them last year and that was family.  It was a tough year but to be in the ring with good health surrounded by new family it means a lot.  Roman says he has a lot to be thankful for.  On Sunday, Smackdown whooped some ass and he didn’t do it on his own.

Roman responds to the crowd and says it is all WWE and NXT did a good job.  Roman ways he wants to thank his team.  He thanks Ali, Shorty G, and Braun Strowman.   Roman says there was one dummy on the team and you know who it is and he won’t thank the dummy.  That dummy should be thanking him.  Roman says we should bring the dummy out here and make him apologize.

Baron Corbin’s music plays and doe makes his way to the ring.

Corbin says Roman thinks he should come out and apologize.  Baron says it was his fearless leadership that won it for Smackdown.  He eliminated two people before you selfishly got him eliminated.  You had some ulterior motives and your ego couldn’t accept the fact that he would win and be the sole survivor.

Roman reminds Baron he didn’t.  He gave Baron a Superman punch and spear and you were eliminated.  You can try to get the job done tonight in the ring in Birmingham.

Rosemont, IL

Tonight’s WWE SmackDown opens up with a look at the blue brand Superstars gathered backstage for a meeting. SmackDown Tag Team Champions The New Day are doing limbo. Roman Reigns speaks from the front of the area and tells the roster they can’t let what happened on RAW and WWE NXT happen tonight. He takes a shot at King Baron Corbin and everyone laughs. Reigns has the bay door opened and says they’re going to let everyone in tonight, and beat their asses when they come.

King Baron Corbin is backstage with Bobby Roode and Dolph Ziggler. Corbin knocks Roman Reigns’ idea of letting NXT Superstars in the door tonight because of what just happened. Corbin goes on and talks about coming up with a plan for Team RAW and Team NXT when they try to crash the six-man main event – roll out of the ring and let them beat up Reigns and his partners, and then… Corbin goes on until Sami Zayn approaches. Corbin thinks Sami is annoying. They have words and Sami calls Corbin to the ring for a fight right now. Sami’s music hits as he heads to the ring, before he could even finish the challenge to Corbin.

Mustafa Ali, Roman Reigns and Shorty G vs. King Baron Corbin, Dolph Ziggler and Robert Roode

We go to the ring for tonight’s six-man main event as hometown star Mustafa Ali is out first. Shorty G is out next, followed by Roman Reigns to a big pop. Greg Hamilton does the introductions as they head to the ring. It looks like Reigns’ entrance pyro was botched as he finally had to lead the other two to the ring. They hit the ring together and the stage pyro finally went off as Cole sent us back to commercial.

Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

We go to the ring and out comes King Baron Corbin. Corbin is being carried to the ring by six men, as he sits on a throne and platform. They sit the structure down at ringside and Corbin stands tall, raising his scepter. He enters the ring as Bobby Roode and Dolph Ziggler wait for him, clapping.

The music stops and the boos get louder. A “you suck!” chant breaks out. Corbin starts talking and fans shut him up with boos. Corbin says they need to pay respects to their king. Corbin goes on about being king and starts taking shots at Roman Reigns, calling him a shell of what he once was. He goes on and says this is no longer Reigns’ yard, it’s Corbin’s kingdom. Corbin talks about how he should be the Team Captain at Survivor Series and shows us a graphic on the big screen. Roode and Ziggler chime in now and talk about taking their rightful spots on Team SmackDown by defeating Shorty G and Mustafa Ali tonight. We know that will be… absolutely glorious. Corbin says he’s inviting The Big Dog to the ring now for this historic moment. Corbin says if they’re teammates then they should all be able to coexist in the ring now. Corbin asks the crowd if they want to see The Big Dog, and they do.

Reigns’ music hits but an animated chihuahua appears on the big screen instead, barking. Or more like yelping. A man comes out dressed as a mascot-type dog. He softly punches the ground on the stage as Reigns would. The little dog on the LED board keeps yelping as the mascot dog marches to the ring. Corbin, Ziggler and Roode laugh. Corbin asks if the dog knows any tricks. He has him take a knee and bow, and shake. The animated dog continues to yelp on the big screen, as he has non-stop since first appearing, as Reigns’ music plays. The mascot dog sits on his knees as Corbin, Roode and Ziggler play to the crowd for boos. We go to commercial.

Manchester, England

We get loads of pyro to begin – it’s like November 5 still in here – then plenty of boos for King Corbin. How can you boo the best entrance theme on the main roster? Come on lads.

Corbin gets on the mic and address Survivor Series, which will be Raw versus SmackDown versus NXT. Loud NXT chants. He says all fans can talk about is NXT taking over SmackDown. He says he finds it’s embarrassing. He lays the blame at the door of “locker room leader” Roman Reigns. He lists his accomplishments including defeating cancer. The crowd applaud. But Baron says he knows he’s a role model but this “fickle bloodsucking audience” only think “what have you done for me lately?” And in Roman’s case, the answer is nothing. He says he’s lost his desire and doesn’t understand the responsibility it takes to be king. “The Bug Dog’s testicles have shrivelled up into itsy, busty, tiny marbles.” He says the bark has gone. He plays a video of an animated version of the Reigns dog graphic making pathetic yapping noises. Corbin says Reign isn’t here because he’s too busy making a wish for children but he’ll be here later for him to beat the crap out of him. This promo goes downhill fast with references to dog excrement. No, really.
